Add and edit sheet metal stock

Learn how to add and edit a sheet metal stock.
Add and edit the sheet metal stock from Optional → Sheet Metal → Stock.

Add stock

[1] Select Add while selecting the location of the stock you want to add.

Notes
It will be added under the selected stock.

[2] Enter any property in the dialog that appears.

Edit Stock

[1] Select Edit while selecting the stock you want to edit.


[2] Change any property in the dialog that appears.

Addition of materials

If you want to create a new material that is not in Default Stock, you need to edit the referenced text file directly.
The referenced text file is displayed in Sheet Metal Stock Data File at the bottom of the Optional → Sheet Metal → Stock screen.


In the case of default settings, it is saved in the following folder.
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\IronCAD\\ja-JP\SheetMetMetal\Stocktbl.TXT
WarningWhen editing a text file, exit IRONCAD.

[1] [Stockbl.Open the txt.


[2] Copy [Begin StockTable] to [End StockTable] from other materials.
Example: The SPCC.


[3] In the position of the material you want to add.Paste it.

Notes
[Begin Stocktable][End StockTable] should be empty up and down one line each.

[4] Change [TableID] and [Title].
TableID: Any stringTitle: Name of Material


[5] Save the text file.
[6] Launch IRONCAD and make sure the changes are reflected.
Warning
Each stock in the created material remains the original settings of the copy. Edit to any property in Edit.
I edited it again [Stockbl.txt] Please backup separately.
