Catalog items Have Disappeared

This section explains the causes and solutions when a catalog disappears.
Possible causes include:

  • The catalog file was closed

  • The closed catalog file name is unknown

  • A user interface display issue

We will address each of these causes and their corresponding solutions.

Catalog File Was Closed

You may have accidentally clicked [Close] and closed the catalog file.

Solution

If you know the name of the closed catalog file, follow these steps:

[1] In the Catalog Browser, click [Open].

[2] Specify the catalog file.
Path:
<Windows Drive>:\Program Files\IronCAD\20xx\AppData\ja-JP\Catalogs\Scene\[Catalog File Name].ICC

[3] Click [Open] to reopen the catalog file.

Catalog File Name is Unknown

You closed the catalog file without knowing its name.

Solution

If you're unsure of the catalog file name or if no catalogs are showing, follow the steps below to reopen the catalog set:
[1] Go to the [Common] tab → Click the triangle next to [Open] in the [Catalog] group.

[2] Select [Close All] to close all currently open catalogs.

NotesPlease note that catalogs other than the system catalog will also be closed.

[3]
Then, go to the [Common] tab → [Catalog] group → Click [Catalog Sets].

[4] In the Catalog Set screen, double-click [Default Scene] to restore the default catalog browser. Alternatively, select [Default Scene] and click [Open] to display the catalogs.

[5] Click [OK] to finish.

User Interface Display Issue

Catalogs may disappear due to UI display glitches.

Solution

You may be able to resolve this by resetting the state through folder deletion:
Delete the following folder:
<Windows Drive>:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Roaming\IronCAD\IRONCAD\*** (Version)

Warning
Deleting this folder will reset all customized settings such as shortcut keys and tool customizations.
