This section explains the possible causes and solutions when features are not displayed or assemblies cannot be expanded in the Scene browser, as shown in the figure below.
Causes:
- Display settings in "Large Assembly Mode" are hiding features
- [Do not show feature in scene browser] or [Prevent selection below part] is enabled
- Settings in the [Scene Browser Filter] are hiding elements
1. Large Assembly Mode is Hiding Features
If the data contains a large number of parts, [Large Assembly Mode] may be activated.
Depending on the settings in this mode, features may not be shown in the scene browser while it is active.
Solution:
[1] Open [Options] in the [Menu].
[2] In the list on the left, select [Assemblies].
[3] Under When [Large Assembly Mode] is Active, uncheck the following two options, then click [Apply] and [OK]:
・[Do not show feature in scene browser]
・[ Prevent selection below part]
2. Feature or Assembly Elements Are Hidden via Right-Click Settings
If specific parts or assemblies cannot be expanded, the settings below may be enabled.
Solution:
When Features Within a Part Are Not Visible:
[1] Right-click the part.
[2] Click [Prevent Selection Below Part] in the [Interaction].
[3] A "+" icon should appear, allowing the part to be expanded.
When Parts Within an Assembly Are Not Visible:
[1] Right-click the assembly.
[2] Click [Prevent Selection Below Part] in the [Interaction].
[3] A "+" icon should appear, allowing the part to be expanded.
3. Scene Browser Filter Settings Are Hiding Items
Click the icon at the right end of the scene browser to access filter settings.
Solution:
[1] Click the [Scene Browser Filter] icon and select [Others].
[2] Check [Feature], then click [OK].
[3] A "+" icon should now appear, allowing elements to be expanded.
