How to Check the Version of IRONCAD Mechanical

The section explains how to confirm the version of IRONCAD Mechanical installed on your system. You can check the version either with IRONCAD closed or with IRONCAD open.

Checking with IRONCAD Closed

[1] Open [IPROSettings] in the IronCAD Mechanical of Start menu.

[2] In the [IronCAD-Mechanical] tab, check the [Version Number] field to confirm the version.


If IRONCAD is open and IPRO settings are opened

If you attempt to open IPRO Settings while IRONCAD is running, a message will appear stating:
“IronCAD is currently running. Please close it before proceeding.”
Notes
Making configuration changes while IRONCAD is open may cause instability. Always close IRONCAD before opening IPRO Settings.


Checking with IRONCAD Open

[1] From the [ICM Mech] catalog, drag and drop an item such as [Fasteners] or [Steels] into the Scene.

[2] A dialog box will appear. Click the “” icon located in the upper-right corner.

[3] The [IronCAD Mechanical] dialog will appear. The installed version of IRONCAD Mechanical is shown under [Version Installer].
