Reflect the Total Weight from the Parts List to the Title Block

Explain how to reflect the total weight of the part list in the title field.

This section explains how to reflect the total weight from the parts list into the title block.
The parts list has a feature for setting the total weight.
Using this function, the total weight of each part can be displayed in the parts list.
The calculated total weight can then be automatically reflected in the "Weight" field of the title block.

Procedure:

[1] Go to the [3D Interface] tab → [Generate View] group → click [Standard View] to project the 3D model.

[2] In the [3D Interface] tab → [Remark] group → click [Import 3D BOM] to import the parts list.

[3] Select the imported parts list, right-click, and choose [Fill in BOM].
(Alternatively, double-click the imported BOM).


[4] In the [Fill in BOM] window:
① Click [Configure total(weight)]
② Check [Auto update totals(weight)]
Then it is calculated.


[5] In the [Fill in BOM] window,
③ Check [Auto fill Title Block] to the right of Weight,
Then from ④ the dropdown list, select the title block field where you want the weight to be displayed.
Notes
The options in ④ are the attribute names defined in the title block.


[6] After completing the setup, the calculated total weight will appear in the specified field of the title block.
