Change the length of the line by specifying the extension direction (IRONCAD/Setch Mode)

This section explains how to change the length of a line in a specified direction during a 3D sketch in IRONCAD.

Procedure:

[1] In the sketching screen, use [Polyline] to draw a horizontal straight line.


[2] Create dimensions using [SmartDimension].


[3] Click [Lock], then unlock dimensions.

Change Blue color.


[2] Click on the line near the end of the side you want to extend.
For example, if you want to extend the right side. ①

[3] Double-click the length (dimension) of the line. ②

[4] Enter the length and press enter to change the length.
