TriBall Rings Disappear

TriBall Rings Disappear

A known issue has been reported in IRONCAD where the TriBall rotation rings do not appear when an axis is constrained, if the [Driver Type] is set to "OpenGL".

Phenomenon

Normal Display of TriBall When Axis is Constrained
Rotation rings appear when an axis is constrained.

Abnormal Display of TriBall When Axis is Constrained
Rotation rings do not appear when an axis is constrained.

Solution:

In 3D, open [Options] in the [Menu].
Under [Rendering] → [Renderer Options], change the [Driver Type] to a different option.
Warning
Changing the [Driver Type] will not affect data that is already open.
The new setting will only be applied to files opened after the change, so please close the current file and reopen it.

Warning
When the driver type is set to OpenGL, rotation rings will not appear when an axis is constrained.
This is normal behavior under OpenGL settings.

If changing the driver type does not resolve the issue, try updating your graphics card driver.
You can download the latest graphics driver from the website of the manufacturer of your PC, or contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.
