Excluding Multiple Parts at Once from Interference Checking

Starting with IRONCAD 2026, a feature has been added that allows multiple parts to be excluded at once during interference checking.

To exclude multiple parts containing specific text in their Custom Property Values at once.

[1] Select the parts/assemblies you want to check for interference, then select [Tools] → [Check Interference].


[2] Set the desired Custom Property Name and Custom Property Value in the [Excluded List].


[3] Enter [.*] before and after the text in the Custom Property Value.


[4] Check [Use regular expressions in property values].
With this setting enabled, select [Do Interference Check].


In the example above, all parts whose Custom Property Name is [Color] and whose Custom Property Value contains [Green] are excluded at once.


To Exclude Multiple Parts with a Specific Custom Property Name at Once

[1] Select the parts/assemblies you want to check for interference, then select [Tools] → [Check Interference].



[2] Set the desired Custom Property Name in the [Excluded List].


[3] Enter [.*] in Custom Property Value.


[4] Check [Use regular expressions in property values].
With this setting enabled, select [Do Interference Check].


In the example above, all parts with the Custom Property Name [Color] are excluded at once.
