Circular arrangement of holes centered on the reference axis

Circular arrangement of holes centered on the reference axis

The Structure Parts tab → Data M has a Reference Axis.
Reference axes can be created and used in a variety of operations to maintain relevance to axes, such as circular array axes and rotating axes.

Explain the operation of ring arranging holes centered on the reference axis.
Warning
The reference axis is valid only for structure parts.

Create a reference axis

Procedures

[1]Right-click the block from the Start catalog to drop it into the scene.

[2] Add a hole to the block.
[3] In the [Structure Parts] tab → [Data] run the [Base of Reference Axis].
[4] Select the parts.
[5] Specifies the position and direction of the reference axis in [point and plane/plan].

[6] A reference axis is created.

Create a ring array

Procedures

[1] [Feature] tab → [Variant] → [ Array].

Select [2] from [Properties].

[3] Specify the hole in [feature] and the reference axis created in [axis].

Change axis position

Procedures

[1] Right-click on the reference axis and select Edit Options from the menu.

[2] Right-click Geometry Selection and deselect it from the menu with Clear.

[3] Re-designate the face and point, and apply it to [OK].

[4] After application, the hole follows the reference axis and moves.
