Deleted IRONCAD folders and files are not recreated after launching IRONCAD.
Copying and pasting IRONCAD folders and files from another PC does not reflect in the current environment.
If this issue occurs, it is possible that a management tool such as Active Directory is being used. Please review the information below.
If you do not have viewing or editing permissions, please contact your system administrator.
Checking the Wrong Folder
Normally, user folders are created per PC account.
When using management tools, a single PC may have multiple accounts, resulting in multiple user folders being created.
Examples of accounts:
The PC's own local account
Accounts managed via management tools
Since IRONCAD folders and files are created in the user folder of the currently logged-in account, the issue might be due to checking the wrong folder hierarchy.
Procedure:
[1] Open File Explorer.
[2] In the navigation bar, left-click on the blank area.
[3] Type [%appdata%] (half-width characters).
[4] Press [Enter] key.
After navigating to this folder, verify whether the IRONCAD folders and files exist.
Lack of Permissions
When using management tools, even if you are logged into the PC with an administrator account, certain permissions may still be restricted.
If overwriting IRONCAD folders and files does not apply the changes, your account may not have sufficient permissions.
If IRONCAD is launched without sufficient permissions, it will automatically load the previous folders and files, even if they were overwritten.
Procedure:
[1] Overwrite the relevant folders and files.
[2] Right-click on IRONCAD and select [Run as Administrator].
(See reference: Run as Administrator)
[3] Confirm whether the settings in the overwritten folders and files are applied.
[4] Exit IRONCAD.
If the changes are applied successfully, launch IRONCAD normally next time.
