Move Two Parts Symmetrically
This section explains how to set up two parts to move symmetrically.
This feature is available from IRONCAD 2023 onward.
It is not available in IRONCAD 2022 or earlier versions.
Use Case
For example, when you want to animate chuck jaws opening and closing symmetrically, or when you want parts/assemblies to maintain symmetric constraints during motion.
Procedure:
[1] Select the parts or assemblies that you want to constrain symmetrically.
[2] Click [Positioning Constraints] in the [Tools] tab.
[3] Check [Advanced constraint], then select [Symmetry].
