How to Share IRONCAD Mechanical Settings

This section explains how to share IRONCAD Mechanical settings. By sharing the respective configuration files, you can transfer settings to another PC.

Standard Settings Files

The standard settings files are saved in the following folder:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\IronCAD Mechanical\Norme

By sharing the files in this folder, you can transfer standard settings to another computer.

BOM Settings in IPROActiveManager

BOM (Bill of Materials) configurations can be set and saved through the [PROActiveMgr] in the [ICM Tools] catalog.

The BOM configuration files are saved in the following folder:

C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\IronCAD Mechanical\Prefs\BOMConfigs

By sharing the [BOM Configs] folder, you can transfer BOM configuration settings to another PC.
