CAXA Draft Becomes Unstable

CAXA Draft Becomes Unstable

CAXA Draft may behave abnormally or operate in an unstable manner.
When there is data containing errors in intermediate files, surfaces, or solids, the software may exhibit the following types of instability:
  1. Projected views do not update
  2. Dimensions cannot be created properly
  3. Operation is extremely slow
  4. Figures become misaligned
  5. Section views cannot be created properly
  6. Part numbers cannot be generated

Solution:

Initialize the settings of CAXA Draft may improve the situation.

For instructions on how to initialize the settings, please refer to the user guide:

Initializing the settings will delete the user folder on the local drive (the drive of the computer currently in use).
If you have important files (such as CAD data, related files, or documentation) saved in the folder to be deleted, please move (back up) them before performing the reset.
After initializing, launch IRONCAD and confirm that CAXA Draft is operating correctly.
Once confirmed, close IRONCAD and move the backed-up files back into the same folder.

If the issue is not resolved

If resetting the settings does not resolve the issue, it may help to eliminate errors in the 3D data.
To check for anomalies in 3D data, use the [Statistics] command:

Fix or recreate any areas with errors.

If IRONCAD itself is operating unstably, please reinstall it.
