Setting the Length of Centerlines

This section explains how to set the length of centerlines in CAXA Draft.
The centerline length can be modified through the Options settings.

Procedure:

[1] Open [Options] in the [Menu].


[2] Under 3D Interface → [Center line Extension], adjust the value as needed.


Sheet Unit Setting


[Sheet Unit] determines whether the drawing scale is applied.
If checked: The centerline length changes according to the sheet unit scale.
If unchecked: The centerline length remains fixed at the entered value, regardless of the scale.
  1. Scale 1:2 → Centerline length becomes twice the set value.
  2. Scale 2:1 → Centerline length becomes half the set value.
Examples (when [Sheet Unit] is enabled):

Changes apply only to projection views created after the setting is updated.


Projection views created before the change will not be affected.

Warning
Be sure to apply the setting before generating projection views, as existing views will not be updated retroactively.
