Adding Auxiliary Surface Symbols to Welding Symbols
This section explains how to add auxiliary surface symbols to welding symbols in CAXA Draft.
Procedure:
[1] Click [Welding Symbol] in the [Annotation] tab.
[2] Configure the Groove Symbol.
By default, it is set to [None]. Select the desired symbol from the list shown on the right.
[3] In the input field below Groove Symbol, enter a ― (full-width dash). ※Japan OS Environment Only
If the auxiliary symbol is set from the lower right of the welding symbol’s reference line (red box area), it will be displayed under Auxiliary Symbol for Finishing Method.
Therefore, use a ― (full-width dash) as a substitute.
[4] Enter the Auxiliary Symbol for Finishing Method, and insert a line break code \N between the ― symbols.
※ Use uppercase \N only (lowercase is not valid).
The line break code \N must be entered in half-width characters.
If entered in full-width, it will not be recognized as a line break code and will appear as plain text.
