This section explains how to create manual Hatching in a projected view that is linked to a 3D drawing, independent of Section View.
Procedure:
[1] Right-click on the projected view and select [View Edit] or [View Edit In-place] to enter the projected view edit mode.
[2] Go to the [Common] tab → [Draw] group → select [Hatch].
[3] When the [Hatch] command is executed, the instance menu will appear in the lower-left corner of the screen.
For Item 1, choose either [Pick point] or [Pick boundary], and then select the area or part lines where you want to apply the hatching.
[4] Select the hatching region or part lines in the projected view, then right-click to confirm.
Once confirmed, the hatching will be created.
If there are multiple areas to hatch, continue selecting each one. When done, right-click to finalize all selections.
・If you want to create hatching in a specific region of a part drawing, use [Pick point], select the region to hatch, and hatching will be applied only to the selected area.
・If you want to apply hatching to the entire part, use [Pick boundary], select the part lines, and hatching will be applied to the entire part.
If the part contains multiple steps or cut-out holes, using [Select Boundary] may only create partial hatching.
In such cases, use [Select Point] and manually select each area within the part to apply hatching.
[5] To exit, go to the [View Edit] or [View Edit In-place] tab and click [Quit Without Save] or [Quit and Save].
If you exit using [Block editor], a prompt will appear asking whether to save changes.
Click [Yes] to save and finish.
