Create a tap size that is not in IRONCAD's default settings

This section explains how to create new thread size that is not included in IRONCAD's default settings using the [Cosmetic Thread].

Tapered holes cannot be created using this method.
The configuration file for [Cosmetic Thread] is stored in the following location:
C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\IronCAD\IRONCAD\Version Number\ja-JP\CosmeticsThread
IRONCAD version numbers are as follows (they increase/decrease by one):
IronCAD2023 : 25.0
IronCAD2022 : 24.0
IronCAD2021 : 23.0

Procedure:

[1] Open the file [CosmeticThread.TXT] located in the folder mentioned above.

[2] Manually add the desired tap size to the file.

[3] Save and close the file.

[4] Launch the [Cosmetic Thread] command and check that the new size has been added.
