Creating an Assembly Feature: Extruded Cut

Use Assembly Feature → Extruded Cut to create consecutive holes in multiple parts within an assembly with a single feature.

Procedure:

[1] In the Assembly tab, click [Assembly Feature Exclude Remove].


[2] Create the sketch for the cut shape.


[3] In the Properties panel, configure the required items:

Direction 1 / 2
Direction Depth: Select from Blind / Through All / Mid Plane.
Extrusion: If Depth → Blind is selected, enter the extrusion distance.
Reverse: Change the direction to opposite the current extrusion direction.

Feature Scope:
All Parts: All parts in the assembly are selected.
Selected Parts: Select specific target parts as desired.
